Sooooo closed in. So young. No nose, no middle, no finish. Everything is *there* just not pronounced. Nothing wonderful. Infanticide. Balanced all the way through, but balanced on very little. At this point not sure adding this to my vertical would benefit my cellar. I hope the age is limiting it in light of decades of very pleasant history with this wine. I’ve never tasted a Simi this young…. So kinda grasping. No flaws, but….. Totally balanced in it’s nothingness. Which gives points. It is not a horrible wine. Will revisit tom after a lot more air.
24hr EDIT: Ya, it’s a blase wine. Screw heritage. I don’t think I am going to buy this one. I probably will try it again in a year though.
