Getting Around to the Central Coast Classics

Not-so-shockingly, a pretty decent wine. Good fruit, but fat and heady.  Must have some alcohol.  Dark but still clear-edged.  A nice rosemary, roasted meat nose of ripe fruit.  Heavy tartarates and sediment.  Bad closure.  My first Eberle, and not terribly blown away–especially for the price-point.  This one’s $40… so what’s the $80 one like?!? Acidic and tannic, not all fluff.  And not terribly thin on fruit.
