Just a stunning example of pure fruit and structure with just the beginnings of a perfect amount of rest on the bottle.  Huge spicy nose with crushed ripe blackberries and briar.  Opens with impressive fruit and closes with great balanced acidity and slightly-polished tannin.  Not a terribly expensive Napa Valley and purchased from Napa Valley Wine and Cigar .  Buy the rest.  ♦♦
