Since everyone’s drinking Napa tonight, I brought out an experiment from my last trip there. Thin and uninteresting. Clear ruby with clear edges. Nose of a neutral-barrel programme and not stellar cleanliness. A tiny bit of spice and all-around fat glycerin-ey bouquet. Vitamin-C entry and fading into almost nothing more instantaneously. Just an embarrassing example of something labelled NAPA CAB. Not even worth this ink. Wine like this deserves a barrel busted open all over the floor.
