Deep crystal garnet with wide clear edges.  Massive candied orange and rubbed parsley with very sweet black cherry, hay and mud with crushed wet rocks.  A fair touch of oak and alcohol visible.  So peppery and intense I worried I might be missing something and decanted.  It really enjoys the air, growing more nuanced and complex, like a pinot crafted for the long run should.  The oak and earth head a nutty direction while the herb and citrus head a ripe tarry direction with the fruit.  In the mouth, gobs of sweet fruit flood the tongue as instantaneous acid grips the edges.  Everything you smelled transfers directly into the mouth.  Blistering pepper finish basically over-rides the nubile tannin.  So young.  Such a baby.  I’m glad I have a case of this.  14-5  ♦♦
