Pale canary with substantial bubbles.  Dirty, wet cardboard and oak with a little mint and over-ripe banana.  In the mouth, crisp and acidic, with almond notes.  A well-made bubbly, but lacks the spirit of even mediocre California sparklers.  Reminds me of Gruet.  Nice wet finish exemplifying the Chardonnay majority.  12-0   ♦
