Med garnet with wide clear and brownish edges. AL in the nose first off, peanut butter and jelly, horse-stall and cream soda. There’s a dirt element… not sand or soil or gravel: black loam. Wet. Simple nose, wonderfully pinot, but not particularly expressive. Typical Edna. In the mouth, relatively thin… abrasive acids attempt to detract from the thin fruit and do a pretty good job. Light and watery, with a solidly un-fruity bitter finish.
