Dense purple ruby with no edge and staining. Copious forward fruit, peanut-shell dusty and wet carbon knife-blade blast out at you unapologetically floral. Lilies left on the table maybe a day too long, but bright and alive. A beautiful new-world take on mid-level Côte-Rôtie. This is Bien Nacido fruit made in screw-top, easy-to-digest packaging and lovely price-points by Potek Wines. In the mouth, full cherry, leather and even salty. Thin and lovely with gorgeous acidity and even-keeled tannins. Highly recommended.
