Dark ruby, pink edges. Off- banana-peel oxidized, bad amateur burnt-rubber electrical-fire feed-lot ridiculousness. Mendo Co has the capability to make great BDX-variety wines, but they are always a touch weird–unlike this one, which is just plain flat-out BAD. It tastes better than it smells, which is a welcome reverse of the norm. Thinly fruited and monumental tannin and Vit-C acid attacking instantly and obliteratingly. Just don’t.
