An old favorite with a couple cases purchased at horrific discount a few years ago for yet-to-be explained reasons.  I won’t post every time I open one of these but I think it’s been at least a year.  A brilliant wine, stunningly rich and yet so *alive* with briar and acid you would swear it was Alexander Valley.  Maybe this is why it wasn’t selling in Paso and went on sale.  Tourists prob didn’t like this all too much.  Barely showing a patina of age, polishing slowly and gradually, this has another decade easy.
