Ruddy garnet with wide clear edges. An offensive note of rich oak and boring flabby fruit trying hard to be interesting in a muddy over-rich sorta way. Piquantness on a note so vague it barely gives a glimpse of varietal-correctness over the still, warm tourist-fruit clamoring for crowd-pleasing forgiveness.
Oh dear, what a boring Pinot. What a sad, sad Pinot. In the mouth, concrete-cleaning acids pale against even more fat cherry fruit, giving a tart exposé to watery bullshit begging you to serve this at a party of non-believers with barely–if any–connection to legitimate Pinot Noir. Dirty enough to ever-so-slightly pass as the variety, the chalky mis-firing of bitterness and shrill abrasiveness of dedication to obese conformity gives a wine so lackluster you want to drink beer.
