A little lovely pond water initial and dirty rubber band throughout turn shrill metallic and ridiculous cherry cola oak in the mouth. Medium light–you can’t stand a fork up in it–and good balance, easy drinkability, with enough character to make it interesting and cool packaging–each item getting a thumbs up. I guessed 14-2, and label states 14-oh, which is lower than most Paso chards–so there’s another point. Not expensive either. I think 20-ish bucks. For a straight Paso cab, it’s a nice mellow drinking one–not falling ill to many of the issues which can bog down Paso cab. This is a fun, versatile weekday wine–bright, lively and fruited.
