A Slow Waltz

Medium amber, with considerable sediment.  Green celeriac alcoholic burnt nose of Pinot Noir classically gone South.  Rich candied fruit and salty lemon tell the story, alongside heady raisin.
Bought a bunch of these on deep discount some years back.  Purchased several vineyards.  Always considered the the weakest of the three, and glad it is my last bottle.  Still have a few of the others.

In the mouth, fruit still larger-than-life but an alcoholic burn negates too much enjoyment. Powdery tannins–still at the ready–escort the stewed fruit out.  Toasted almond and burnt rubber complete things. Smoke’em if ya got’em.
