Impenetrable dark with clear edges. Fragrant high note of blueberry and gardenia blows off almost instantly to huge leather, spice, mint, euc, briar. Bogglingly round, sumptuous tannins–absolutely CHEWABLE with acidic finish forever. This IS Alex cab. To call this wine mature might be a stretch, but to call it balanced would also be a stretch. It’s my last one and I like it TODAY.
