Bought a shit-ton of these when the project folded and REALLY need to start getting rid of them. HELP!!! This is the almost completely Syrah one, and at 12½ it still has no brick, but it is interesting to observe the tertiary as compared to, say, Cab, which I drink alot more of at these ages.
Green woody, with ample barnyard, while the slightly-nutty fruit is still massively raspberry-crammed before grainy graphite pushes a little alcohol burn in the tannin. I’m guessing damn near fifteen.
Still a bunch of these floating around the Central Coast. I know @winesneak has some. Not sure who made it. Ken Volk? Ken Brown? Beautiful dark spooky concentrated wines bristling with fruit and goodness.
