The Grenachista

Bright, young, clear purple-red in flint, a drity, *natural* sorta nuance flowing easily off the nose, greasy vegetal and oblique woody combined with sweet cherry hard candy.

In the mouth, rather warm but vibrant, bitter vicissitudes glowing down shallow berry lanes. It’s a young wine, and one possibly not destined for greatness, although grand demeanor of all things *settling down* play positive notes in its favor. The roundenss of the mouthfeel clashes with plentiful acidity in a light Garnacha sort of way I don’t think serious aging falls into play. It’s cherubic as it sits and needs to be dranken young and appreciated as what it is: A glowing testament to light, rather frivolous grenache suitable for hot afternoons and easy pairings of charcuterie and salad. Don’t over-think it, and all will be fine. A beautiful bottle showing easy love–maybe even slightly chilled–for casual drinking and contemplation.
