This is a nice, easy-drinking Cab: perfect for weekday sipping, enjoyable throughout with plenty of stuffing where it counts. Young and spicy in the nose, with plentiful ripeness hinting at depth. Cherry and marmalade with points of easy oak.

Tasting it reveals a bit of brashness, rather simple but nicely balanced between pure cab definition and yummy relish. The fruit flows easily across the palate, ripeness over-powering most of the dry, chalky background in a way neither super-compelling or offensive. Tannins are soft, the whole thing delicious and head-and-shoulders above most offerings at this price-point. Buy it, drink up, everyone’s gonna love it.
