One of the MASTERS of Sauvignon Blanc in California, Fred Brander makes several and this is always a mind-blowing version of the variety. Allow plenty, PLENTY of airtime to get the pure varietal nuances out of it because initially it comes off so fruity, so acid driven, so clean and tropical, I’m not sure I would have blinded it as Sauvignon Blanc. But as it opens and warms and develops, just an absolute stunner.
