Should and Shouldn’t

Couple of the smartest guys I’ve ever run into on the Central Coast… One makes some of the worst wines in the region and one makes some of the best. The extremely talented and wine-making guru John Munch makes–NYET: distills a soggy mud-heap of NV chardonnay with extended barrel age into a 15-5 brown liquid (it’s not wine) that makes the gods cry. Mike Callahan sources Riesling from the best vineyards and makes it shine in true, beautifully austere, fruity fashion. Go figure.
