Fairly predictable…. The 2000g bottle, the gold-leaf screenprint, the impenetrable wax and sure enough… It’s a sweet, luscious, flabby thing lacking any real nuance a true Napa Valley cab lover will appreciate. We keep thinking the pendulum has swung and wines like this will be over, but that will never happen–not as long as the sweet-tooth of the 99% and #winebro are clogging the Silverado Trail. But this wine is over.
