Oddly burnt and toasty, kinda a sauteéd briar sorta development narrowly overshadowing the fruit–or IS that the fruit??? It’s an interesting wine, though not gonna get my usual 98 points. Brilliant pithy discoveries middle-through-late finish bring up strong structural conversations but a bit too little too late for the thinnish body.
