Always a shock when the first pour of these things pops out… An instant OH GOD! at the transparency and orange color and general LACK of color. There are rosés in Paso darker than this. Always an interesting nose and intake too… This darling-child of natty bro will not garner too many WOW, THAT’S INCREDIBLE’s from the general populace (or anyone for that matter) but you WILL be told “it’s delicious” as you search for stunning qualities among the things most varieties can do blindfolded with one hand tied behind their back. I do love the spicy black pepper on this thing late middle, as the vagueness of the attack starts slipping down your clenched throat–long after the nasal vapidity has caused you to stop searching for meaning in life. The blood-orange finish is a nice touch too–like someone touching the scale behind a bulemic.
