Maybe I’m just thirsty but man is this good wine. And I kind of roll my eyes every time I see a grenache blanc: it’s like do we need another white wine? What is it going to be like, really? I mean it’s not Chardonnay, it’s not Chablis, it’s not riesling or gewurztraminer, it’s not viognier thank Dog, it’s not even chenin, so what is it? What is it going to be like? Is it just going to be another boring white wine? And then you open something like this and it’s just so full of spirit and tanniin and glorious funkiness and complicated fruit and you just end up chugging it. I’m not even angry it’s carbonic. Everything hits here in perfect unison, no crumbs left.
