A little Sauvignon Blanc showing some beautiful age at 6 years. People tend to quaff these things really young and forget the stellar ageable history of the grape in Bordeaux and Napa. This thing is developing incredible nuances of toasted almond and cedar, deepening yellow in the glass, and in the mouth a supple, incredibly sexy polish where the tropical is all going down a dusty road toward velvet theater seats and squeaky furniture. Nutty and extravagant, extremely elegant, a beautiful wine, so stash some white Bordeauxs away. You’ll thank me later.
