This is the blandest, vaguest, most uninspiring, nothing-in-it PV I think I’ve had in some time. Literally nothing going on in this wine, from the stillbirth, cardboardy, almost soggy tropical nose into an entry completely devoid of fruit or flavor, through the finish which is I suppose representative structure for the variety but clammy and chalky and thin even at that. We don’t expect much from Petit Verdot, but this takes vapidity to whole new levels.
