Contra Costa County is a seemingly strange appellation for good wines but somehow they do it. Middle of Delta–basically a bunch of islands and sloughs. Bottomless sand. But some of the best Zin, Mourv, and PS ever. LOVE the Cline’s from there. This one was *Zinfandel* through-and-through. A bit flabby, but solid.
