Dark garnet, but I would stop short of calling it ‘staining’.  AL-ridden nose with ripe plum and lychee.  Crazy tannic over middle and finish.  Somewhat over-powering and fruit almost pales to ‘thinnish’.  Not sure if fruit will outlast structure and AL is searing.  Will really be interesting in 5yrs.  Due to the AL, it is hard to project 10yrs.  It *could* happen, but feeling the thinness of fruit pretty hard.  Good price-point.  14-9  ♦♦
