When Costa de Oro first surfaced close to a decade ago, it soon became one of my favorite PNs. It was cleanly made and SCREAMED pinot noir. Re-visiting it a decade later seems they have gone a tad to the bigger, more volatile, route. Not my style of PN. One of those wineries in SMV people say, “So many great pinots from that place–just not them.” about.
