2011 iSauce: Massive oak and sharp sort of awkward ripeness in the nose with an interesting vegetal streak. Densely fruited, but meager of body and finish. I can’t really call it flabby because it honestly feels kinda thin. Ripe, but meager. Weird and disjointed. Not *flawless* like manufactured Napa cabs of this ilk. Oak again dominates entire palate far into the cab-franc finish. Don’t understand the appeal. You DO know you can buy 3 INTERESTING bottles of wine for this price?
