Extremely pale canary. Big oily liliko’i and floral explodes in the nose with crisp golden delicious and base minerals. Clean, pure, amazing red-flame fruit hits the tongue, never hesitating, true and sure of itself with knife-edge acidity in perfect balance and a subtle petrol. Fruit turns the direction of exotic spice but never huge or construed. Warm and mouth-filling in the middle, with stunning dryness pulling along throughout and especially in the finish. Crisp is the word here. Crisp and at the same time full and effortlessly round. I drink more whites than I post about, and when I do, they are usually Riesling or Gewurztraminer. This is one of those occasions. This bottle is NAILS. Easily in the top 5 of the variety in the New World.
