Kinda wanted to dip my toes into La Vie, as I have handled their PN’s many times but have a hard time pinching off the 50 bucks per they command.  Found this at El Rancho Marketplace SY and bit based on age and manageable AL and appel and am quite surprised.  Perfect colour, nice clear garnet with very little age showing.  Awesome forest-floor nose and a lil AL.  Somewhat astringent over middle and finish but nicely integrated.  A lil thin, I suppose–but what I like–very much like RRV SY or others from cooler areas. Quite nice.  A lovely SY at age ten.  14-0  ♦♦
