Dark ruby, purple edges and staining. Considerable sediment. Simple, grape-juice nose fairly reminiscent of cheap France-Sud with delicate floral and cellar-floor notes. Sulphite-free. I purposely left this thing open overnight to see what sort of stress I could subject it to. It held up surprisingly good, but it’s young. In the mouth, simple and thin–almost *home-wine-ish*, but with a sort of flower-petal, cake-frosting elegance to it. Brightly acidic and tannic. A good simple quaffer.
