Dark grainy garnet, some sed. Simple nose, nice classic Sonoma soft and round, bright cherry and tropical lased with a bit of spice. Pretty sure this is Cartlidge and Brown. It’a a big, tank-negociant in American Canyon turning out plonk for somewhere… I don’t know where really. Never see it in CA. Bought a bunch of these on close-out several years ago and they certainly give a satisfactory bang-for-the-buck. Not smelling of much age at all, possibly a touch of raisin, but overall hardly any noticeable polish. In the mouth, simple and round, with some briar and acid bulking things up. Med tannins.
