Clear bright ruby with wide clear edges.  Succulent candied fruit, higher-noted than even your best Gamay but with a ripe decadence and velvet richness DEFINING fruit punch concentrate. Dark fig and salty snacks wait in the wings but are no match for the dripping fruit-bowl. A late-breathing A-train humanity brings everything into earthy focus alongside deep dark rich-cherry candy.

In the mouth, match-head abrasiveness and distinct acid shoves 92% cacao bar onto the tongue, petrichor and pie-cherry flowing in all directions.  Clearly an absolute BABY, not yet finding a supreme balance, but all things point to a lovely *settling down*.  Wracking tannin anchors the fruit in place for an unforgettable finish. This is my first 2015 and a beautiful Grenache stunner with serious mettle.  It comes off fruity and pleasant, but then charges into a powerhouse beast writhing in complexity and elegance without much subtlety.
