One of the most flaccid bullshit wines I’ve had in recent memory. A nose of candied cherry and constructed cassis trying desperately to source anything interesting from shallow ripeness and placated earth–none of which actually exists in the fruit–but the bottle vainly attempts to woo from nothingness. Flat and round in the mouth, all yumminess fading quickly to electrical fire bitterness and trumped-up tannins on a one-dimensional scale so touristy perfect the glycerin can barely pack enough verve into the perfect smooth finish. A perfect club-only bottle defining varietal vapidity.
