Urined hotel bed-sheets with a frosting of sour cherry and wood-stem intense enough to run herbaceously medicinal. Clean stainless steel in its singularity of mineral, rotting crisper in its vegetal, chicken-farm in its barnyard, and cumin in its sweatiness, it is tight while round. An interesting juxtaposition. Pomegranate seed and wet checkbook dominate the mouthfeel, allowing a citrus-licorice to attempt fruit-plumping. But fruit is a saline spectre.
This is not a horrible wine by any stretch of the imagination. It has lots of little interesting things going on in it, it just feels kinda contrived. And it’s boring.
