Dirty grainy grimy gritty; stemmy on 10, dirty baby diaper on 9. Peat and smoky earth do a pretty good job savorizing the fresh fruit. This is a pretty brilliant wine. Day 2 just EXPLODED IN THE GLASS, a buttery bright fruit tapenade sandwich. I don’t shop at Costco–and you shouldn’t either–but this is the best argument to start I’ve seen so far.
