
Grabbed this off a menu last night, instant unmistakable “Italy” in the nose, beautiful funk turning quickly to icy mineral and bottomless ripe licorice black cherry fruit. Mouthfeel to die for, roasted olive basking in warm sunshine and wet concrete, drinking with elegance and concentration far beyond its P-P while still wrackingly acidic. Technically a Montalcino? Probably 100% Sangio? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Just a beautiful little wine being poured @puffersofpismo
