Not-perfectly clear intense ruby with flourescent pink edges. Dense fruit meandering its way through sweet creamed corn, roasted herbs du Provence and dirty baby diaper. Chalky grip flows into substantial alcohol, and late-breathing reflects almost pure pie-cherry fruit in a little peat muddle.
In the mouth, fruit owns all. There’s a meaty density to it which causes your next reaction to seem almost unbelievable: the ethereal light touch of an overwhelming hi-note of acid and clarity. Tannins swell obfuscatingly, causing a long sandpaper memory of fruit nectar and nowhere is visible my guess of 15+. I PROMISE YOU this is extremely limited.
Dusty Nabor’s wife’s beautiful not-so-little Ballard Canyon Grenache is a feminine swath across crushed berry goodness and ALL business.
