Brick Howse

Heady and dense, massive juniper rock candy gratitude for all things petrichor, sangria, and crusty cherry pie caked in ice cream. A green melange of peppery briar translates straight into the mouth, ridiculously concentrated, a black knight of extraction and ripeness at one with every “OMG that’s a huge Cab-franc” metaphor in your vocabulary. Positively chewy all the way into the Big Red finish, this thing’s 15-oh if it’s a day.

Brick Barn is a stunning new place right IN Buellton just a half-click off the 101. An old horse stable restored to wine-making and event duties, no expense was spared and it shows. Rob DaFoe is at the production-helm now, but I believe Bruno d’Alfonso made this wine before completion of the winery. Correct me if you know better.
