David Aggio

A little 70/20 not quite Super Tuscan but fun and lively. Total experiment and the sangio is just cranking this thing out of the ballpark. Kind of expected a big ripe jammy fruit bomb at 14-9 but between the Petit verdot and the Sangiovese, it is well mannered, balanced, not slutty wine. It actually could honestly use a bit more fruit. Grimy and gritty, dark dense concentrated spicy goodness for 60 bucks, I mean who’s complainin??? Not me. Very nice stuff.
