Walkin the DOCG

Beautiful Giusti Dal Col Asolo Prosecco DOCG brut driving the Thanksgiving train this year. I just wish I were in Europe where there IS NO thanksgiving.

Joltingly spritzed, sharp and piercing on entry, creamy matchhead and grassy notes accompany tooth-shattering acidity from this 100% Glera wonder. Biting and brilliant, the grazing of cantaloupe and cucumber fruit follow you all the way down into teeth-wiping *please give me another sip* territory. I can’t remember the dosage on this, but brace yourself, American, because it’s gonna be high and you’re gonna be all like ewwww it’s so sweet in your snobbish little sneer. But have you had REALLY GOOD PROSECCO??? Okay looked it up, it’s ONLY 10 g/l. Sound like a lot? Meomi has more than that! (also less than Korbel Extra Dry) This stuff is from tiny hillside vineyards in Montello and Asolo and I’d love for you to try it. Don’t laugh at Prosecco until you’ve had the good stuff.
