Ari Anna

Pale canary with a tiny wisp of sediment. THE most shocking floral and fruit on initial nose. Lush, beautiful, mind-numbingly concentrated, Malvasia-ish, Gewurztraminer-ish, Muscat-ish, THAT’s how amazingly tropical it it–almost to the point of sweetness. With 15 minutes of air, all the green grassiness, wet denim and warm sand you expect start shining through, eventually taking over the exotic fruit completely, leaving a glass of something far more serious–but no less beautiful.

In the mouth, viscous and creamy. Melon and pear–thick and concentrated. This, too, morphs into something far greener, far edgier, far tangier and far more seriouser late-middle, where it drys out completely, injecting tannin into the picture, for a crisp, apple-bark finish.

The freshman effort from this label, and an absolute stunner. I could literally sell endcaps of this stuff. But knowing this producer, I’m guessing there’s probably only a few barrels. A SHOCKING, GORGEOUS white.
