Black and ripe, GOBS of thick fruit and spicy structure flowing off it. A beautiful Cabernet lush and round in the nose but climbing in sharp and restrained on the palate. Dense briar coats firm cherry and pomegranate until washed away by blockbuster tannin.
Livermore Valley and Happy Canyon–at opposite ends of the Central Coast–make the best cabs of the region, though the northern contribution gets little love. These are SERIOUS wines from Nottingham: NOT to be ignored. Easily chiming in with the best of Sonoma and Napa.
