Totally gone. Not against Kenwood or anything, this wine was never intended for anything NEAR this kind of age… Not pruney or maderized, just vapid and lacking. Perfectly balanced in its gone-ness, no fruit, definite structure, black cherry with harsh acidity and… nothing… anywhere. A solid background memory of fruit, but lacking anything compelling. Great acidity, tannin still on 10, completely drinkable and even enjoyable, but gone. A lovely visit, and kinda almost feels better after sitting open all night.
