Another outstanding white from this somewhat *natural* house, pale pearl in the glass throwing greenery and ripe melon all over the place. It’s like Sauvignon Blanc’s stepson ran off with Chardonnay’s youngest daughter and had lots of sex and babies.
Tangy and vibrant in the mouth, the sparkle of youth barely dulled by creamy richness and bitter funk. Everything works here: from the astonishing low alcohol… to the sweet texture on all parts played… through the delicate grind of finish rooted in dry acidity and spunk. There are nods to Rhone minerality and depth, glances of Loire distinction and vegetal, deep bows to California sunshine. You just can’t stop drinking it.
