Black and blue purple staining the glass terribly, strong minty nose, steely and concentratedly floral. The power of this one comes through in spades, clogging the bouquet with viscious spirit. I haven’t had a petite sirah for a bit, and cramming your nose into one is always a shock.
Crazy dense fruit in the mouth, a chalky attack grippy and raw, the berry soft and juicy while thick and hard. Tannins rather soft as the acid just dies down alongside the fruit in the finish. Beautiful stuff. I love PS.
