Not the world’s biggest d’Arenberg fan.  Dark ruby w garnet edges.  Massive wet dirt latex sap nose and a touch salty on entry.  Huge ripe fruit-wedge with tannins and acidity screaming over the sides “Surrender!” or “10 more yrs!” your choice.  I like it, but it’s a monster.  ♦♦
