Short, but interesting article I stumbled upon. I am just constantly soap-boxing about what a wonderful varietal Syrah is and how it is NOT a cheaper cab and how Cold-Climate-Syrah is BEST and people write gobs and gobs about how delicate Pinot noir is and truthfully, the best Syrahs are grown WITH pinot and treated LIKE pinot in the cellar.
I’ve only had two of these, but even before reading this article, they were my favorites.

I still want to taste through Columbia valley for this same reason, but why list a 69 case wine? I do totally agree, but was surprised to see a Paso wine on the cold climate list.
