Sexual chocolate butter pine-pitch so doused in bright lemon and heady floral spice it’s hard to make a definition between the brilliant fruit and sultry body. And I hate to use “butter” in a chard review, but there it is. This is NOT *oak-n-butter* bullshit though, boys and girls–this is the real deal: creamy apple and bitter root flowing seamlessly off 7-up dried banana and chewy density before resorting to actual tannins in the finish. Nothing quite like an iconic Napa Valley Chardonnay. I’m gonna eat this with a big ol rare steak tonight because it’s THAT kind of wine.
